Reinforced Soil is a composite construction material that combines soil with reinforcing elements to enhance strength and stability. The system is widely used in civil engineering and geotechnical applications, such as retaining walls, bridge abutments, wing walls, embankments, and slopes. The reinforcement typically involves materials like geosynthetics (e.g. geogrids, geotextiles) or metallic strips.

All design work is carried out in accordance with BS 8006-1:2010+A1 2016, Eurocodes and Irish standards.
